Eliminating 75% of single-use plastics in packaging by 2025

More than 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic has been produced since the early 1950s. To break up up the outdated linear economy model, HP Inc is piloting circular solutions that will help them reduce 75% of single-use plastic in their packaging by 2025.

Leadership update

AmCham EU is pleased to announce recent appointments to leadership positions. We would like to congratulate Veronika Bendere (MSD); Elizabeth Crossick (Relx); Mark Foster (Barclays); Jane Gimber (FleishmanHillard); Ania Helseth (Meta); Pablo Muniz (Van Bael & Bellis); Emilia Valbum (3M); and Alberto Zilio (AT&T Inc).

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank members who stepped down recently from leadership positions for their continued engagement  and commitment: George Candon (Hill + Knowlton Strategies) who remains Member at Large of the Operations Group and Vice-Chair of the Communications and Marketing Group; Agnese Danelon (Dupont) who remains Vice-Chair of the Transport, Energy and Climate Committee; Jeremy Rollison (Microsoft); and Elizabeth Krahulecz (former EY). More details about the leadership changes mentioned above can be found here.

Trust, cooperation and optimism- the transatlantic digital economy

Knowing this, AmCham EU hosted the 9th edition of its annual Transatlantic Digital Economy Conference on Thursday, 28 October. This year’s event featured discussions on how private and public entities can channel the power of data to fuel Europe’s digital decade and foster transatlantic ties.
