AmCham EU’s Executive Council announces new leadership

The American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU) is delighted to announce the new leadership of its Executive Council.

The new ExCo team comprises 3M’s Patrick Deconinck as Chair, and four Vice-Chairs; Harry van Dorenmalen from IBM; Cindy Miller from UPS; Christian Morales from Intel; Julian Nebreda from AES.

Susan Danger, Managing Director of AmCham EU said, ‘our new ExCo leadership team is looking forward to engaging with the new European Institutions, passionate about working with stakeholders to increase jobs & growth; and determined to pursue AmCham EU’s Agenda for Action to move towards a more dynamic Europe.’

Ms Danger continued, ‘It is essential that the EU focuses on building skills for the future, embraces entrepreneurial change, and leads by example towards global free trade’.

ExCo works with AmCham EU’s Board and policy leaders to focus on our Agenda for Action’s key areas: Build skills for the future; drive integration to create an attractive internal market; embrace revolutionary change for industrial leadership; develop new models of innovation and entrepreneurship; lead by example towards global integration.

The Executive Council of AmCham EU is a group of 21 European CEOs who lead the European operations of some of the world’s largest multinational companies and who are passionate and committed to the competitiveness of Europe in the global economy.

AmCham EU speaks for American business committed to Europe on trade investment and competitiveness issues. It aims to ensure a growth orientated business and investment climate in Europe. AmCham EU facilitates the resolution of transatlantic issues that impact business and play a role in creating better understanding of EU & US positions on business matters.
