Position paper - EU toolbox against counterfeiting - Call for evidence

The European Commission began a call for evidence on the EU toolbox against counterfeiting to clarify the roles of right holders, intermediaries and public authorities. As the European Union (EU) faces unprecedented geopolitical, economic and health challenges, it has become increasingly necessary to identify key pillars that will not only support the economic recovery, but that will also pave the way towards EU leadership on the global stage. All players in the supply chain have a great role to play in combating counterfeits and the adverse impact of IP infringements on innovation, all while presenting specific comments on the objectives of the toolbox.
