AmCham EU members discuss the future of the EU data economy in Bulgaria

During a delegation visit to Sofia, Bulgaria ahead of the upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union, AmCham EU participated in a conference organised by AmCham Bulgaria.

The conference, entitled ‘Europe at the forefront of the digital transformation,’ focused on ways to build the European economy via free flow of data and smart regulation, cybersecurity, cloud computing and Internet of Things.

In a discussion on the future of the European data economy, Karl Cox, Chair of AmCham EU provided opening remarks, and a number of AmCham EU members participated in the panel. AmCham EU representatives reiterated the need to complete the Digital Single Market by adopting future-proof policies.
