Letter to Commissioner Malmström and Ambassador Froman ahead of the 10th round of TTIP negotiations

Ahead of the 10th negotiating round for a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreement between the EU and the United States, the European Business Alliance for TTIP – a coalition of key industry associations in the EU that supports the conclusion of a comprehensive, ambitious TTIP agreement – today sent a letter to EU Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström and US Trade Representative Michael Froman urging negotiators to upscale the political momentum of the talks.
The European Business Alliance for TTIP believes that now marks the time to make truly substantive progress towards the conclusion of a robust TTIP agreement that will provide the conditions for jobs, investment and growth.
