On Monday 12 October 2015, Susan Danger took part in a TTIP-focused conference organised by the Cato Institute in Washington D.C. This conference, named 'Will the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Live Up to Its Promise?' featured panel presentations, debates and roundtable discussions with trade experts from both sides of the Atlantic.

Susan Danger spoke over lunch in a duo interview with Nancy McLernon, CEO and President of OFFI (Organisation for International Investment) which speaks for international companies in the US.

Susan Danger took this opportunity to reiterate the commitment of AmCham EU member companies to the successful conclusion of TTIP and touched upon the need to better explain the benefits of the partnership at Member State level.

Overall the conference emphasised the geopolitical dimension of the debate.
