Making waves for sustainability

Plastic pollution remains a major concern for European beaches, with 481 plastic items found per 100 metres in 2022. The Beach Care Project, led by CNH’s CASE Construction Equipment and its Sustainable Development Initiatives division, tackles this challenge through community cleanups, scientific research and environmental education. Active in France, Italy, Spain, the UK and the Ivory Coast, the programme engages local communities in restoring coastal ecosystems. With 6,500 participants to date, the initiative recycles collected waste into educational tools, fostering a culture of sustainability.
