AmCham EU outlines key areas for deeper EU-US regulatory cooperation

AmCham EU welcomes the opportunity to respond to the European Commission’s call for proposals for EU-US regulatory cooperation. The transatlantic economy remains the largest, most prosperous and most innovative of its kind in the world – and it continues to grow.
However, a number of challenges and opportunities are present in the bilateral EU-US economic relationship which require careful attention. Our response highlights a number of areas in which the EU and the US could work together in the short- and longer-terms to develop their economic ties, address global challenges and promote new global standards. We look forward to working with policy-makers and stakeholders on both sides of the Atlantic in pursuit of this important goal.
