AmCham EU presents recommendations to the Slovenian Presidency to Gašper Dovžan
The Slovenian Presidency comes at an important stage of Europe’s economic recovery, with the vaccine roll-out well underway. As attention turns to life after ‘lockdown’, the Slovenian Presidency will play an important role in overseeing the rebuild of Europe’s economy. AmCham EU welcomed Gašper Dovžan, State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, 7 July 2021 for a conversation with members on the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
During the event the State Secretary highlighted the important of strong transatlantic cooperation, as well other key topics for the presidency such as economic recovery, enlargement, strategic autonomy and future of Europe.
Zeger Vercouteren (J&J), Chair, AmCham EU presented our Presidency Recommendations to the State Secretary during the event. AmCham EU values our engagement with the rotating Presidency and we hope to continue working with the Slovenian Presidency during the next few months to ensure that we reach our common objectives of a stronger and more united Europe. We also engage closely with AmCham Slovenia and would like to thank Ajša Vodnik, CEO, AmCham Slovenia for their support and cooperation with AmCham EU.
