Top 3 finalists selected for Youth Entrepreneurship Award 2018
On Thursday, 5 April AmCham EU hosted the jury deliberation for the sixth annual Youth Entrepreneurship Award.
JA Europe and AmCham EU selected the five finalists from a great list of applications. The finalists pitched their projects to the expert jury which was comprised of Daniel Calleja Crespo, Director General at the European Commission, Susan Danger, CEO of AmCham EU, Benjamin Fox, journalist at Euractiv, Adam Shub, Charge d’Affaires at the US Mission to the EU, and two members of AmCham EU’s Executive Council, Mark Green from AES and Rudolf Ertl from Gilead.
The winner will be announced at AmCham EU’s Annual Gala on Wednesday, 16 May where the top three finalists will be present: Bioo, GrowGreen and Liight. The Youth Entrepreneurship Award aims to recognise young people who have chosen to become entrepreneurs and foster entrepreneurship in Europe.
