Passing of Andreas Galanakis

It is with great sadness and regret that we announce to you the passing of our very dear colleague and friend, Andreas Galanakis on Saturday morning, 16 September. As many of you know, Andreas served as an inspiring and dedicated Policy Director at AmCham EU since joining us in 2010. He bravely battled pancreatic cancer since his shock diagnosis in early June 2016 and throughout the last year he amazed us all with his strong spirit, resiliency and incredible dignity at all times. He is survived by his two young sons, Raphael 7 and Matthias 5, wife Myrto, mother Georgia, and brother Stylianos.
