Position paper - Proposals for the Council’s Recommendation on AMR

The Council’s Recommendation on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) aims to set concrete objectives and activities to strengthen Member States' actions against AMR. This proposal should promote antimicrobial stewardship, expand and better coordinate surveillance tools, implement comprehensive prevention methods, develop new economic models and incentives to promote R&D and foster parnerships between the human health, veterinary medicine and environment sectors.
