On Wednesday 26 October 2016, AmCham EU held its 33rd Competition Policy Conference.

The event began with a welcome by Salomé Cisnal de Ugarte, Vice-Chair, AmCham EU and Partner, Crowell & Moring LLP and was followed by a keynote address by Johannes Laitenberger, Director-General, DG COMP, European Commission. The event continued with two panels on Big Data and antitrust and competition in e-commerce. Sir Philip Lowe, Senior Advisor, FTI Consulting, provided the concluding remarks and gave an overview of prospects for Brexit.
