AmCham EU is a co-signor to a joint industry statement on the implementation of the harmonised marking requirements under Directive (EU) 2019/904 on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment. The signatories wished to express their critical concerns about the interpretation provided by the European Commission’s services of the concept of ‘placing on the market’ and its impact on the existing stocks and the integrity of the Single Market.
