Position paper - Energy Performance of Buildings Directive consultation response

The Transport, Energy and Climate committee submitted a response to the open public consultation on the revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. As part of the European Commission's 'Renovation Wave' strategy aimed at boosting energy renovation of buildings in the EU, the goal of doubling the annual energy renovation rate of buildings by 2030 requires a revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. As AmCham EU we have provided feedback to this consultation on how we believe this goal would be best achieved through the revision of the EPBD.
