Position paper - EDPB consultation on the new Guidelines on data subject rights – Right of Access

The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) opened a Public Consultation on the new Guidelines on data subject rights – Right of Access. AmCham EU's reply acknowledges the helpful directions that the Guidelines provide and how important a point of reference that data controllers will consider them to be when dealing with the various components of the right of access. Moreover, the document offers comments and feedback that are intended to support the EDPB in further improving the Guidelines toward their finalisation.
